The Niagara Men's Chorus has been in existence since 1988 and has been under the directorship of Mr. Bert Warkentin since 1999. Mrs. Fran Spoar was also appointed as the groups accompanist in September 1999. Mrs. Pamela Robbs was accompanist and director of the chorus until her untimely death in June of 1999 and was instrumental in helping to make the Niagara Men's Chorus a significant cultural resource in the Niagara Area.

Since September of 1999 there have been many changes to the group. In addition to the appointment of a new conductor and accompanist, members of the former Gentlemen Songsters, a well known chorus in the Niagara Peninsula, who were founded in the early 60's, joined with the Niagara Men's Chorus.

Today, the chorus has a membership of more than 40 members, having as its purpose, the promotion of good singing, good fellowship, and public service. Some of the goals are: to promote, develop and maintain a male voice chorus in the Niagara Peninsula, to provide musical entertainment for audiences and provide self satisfaction for individual participants.
